This was originally a small cottage of 90m2, to which the owners have added 147m2. This house´s design was inspired by Neoclassical colonial homes of the late 19th century, but at this stage of construction it could easily be made more modern or even more rustic, like a Tuscan villa. The edification limit is 33.3%, so the new owner could increase the size of the home to 392m2. The construction is between 60 and 70% completed, and there are building estimates to finish the project, of between 150.000 and 180.000 euros. This means that someone could have a very elegant home in Sotogrande for around 500.000 euros.
Discreetly lowered from the street under mature eucalyptus, pine and cork trees. In the original project the intent was to build a wide U shaped stairs coming down from the street envelopping a patio. It has a large living room of 40m2 and a ceiling height of 3.6 metres, leading off that room a study of 20m2 and then a dining room with a domed ceiling of 20m2. The terrace, which faces the green zone, is supported by four doric pillars and measures 40m2.

-One 18th Century Spanish Entrance Door
-One 18th Century French set of Double Doors for the Master Suite

What still needs to be done:
-Digging the patio between the house and street
-Interior and Exterior Rendering
-Plumbing, electricity and heating for the newly built parts of the home (the original parts of the house include one bedroom and bathroom which are finished, and the plumbing and electricity are done in the kitchen, dining room and study)
-Impermeabilization of the roof for the newly constructed areas (147m2)
