Marbella is the most popular and most famous town on the Costa del Sol. Nearby Puerto Banus offers nightclubs and bars who party throughout the night. It is common to go out at midnight and party well into the next day.

Marbella has long been popular with overseas visitors who have purchased property in the area. This has had an effect on the price of property in the area which has increased by more than 400% in recent years.
